Key Takeaways from the AWS Public Sector Partner Virtual Experience

Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosts events bringing the cloud computing community together to connect, collaborate, and learn from AWS experts.

This week, our team participated in the AWS Public Sector Partner Virtual Experience, a virtual event that allowed APN partners to engage with different organizations, hear insights through sessions, and network with attendees, speakers, and sponsors.

Here are our team’s key takeaways from the AWS Public Sector Partner Virtual Experience:

  1. The keynote covered ‘how’ and ‘why’ AWS thinks and works, which is critical for APN Partners to deeply understand at any stage or level or tier of partnership. It’s all about customer obsession, culture, and curiosity!
    .
  2. It takes consistent commitment to establish and maintain a Cloud Center Of Excellence (CCOE), and executive sponsorship is a key, but as cloud adoption continues to grow, the value of investing in a CCOE grows too for the partner, for AWS, and for the customer.
    .
  3. Good session content that included nuances associated with Public Sector and was useful to both business and technical personnel.
