A new program is working to retrain Virginians who have lost their job during the COVID-19 pandemic.

VA Ready is partnering businesses with community colleges to provide a pipeline to jobs in high demand.

Olivia Bailey, Anchor and Reporter at WCYB News, interview Sonu Singh, CEO of 1901 Group, and Glen Youngkin, Co-Founder of VA Ready, to share how the VA Ready Initiative will bring together businesses and community colleges to help Virginians gain the skills they need to get high-demand jobs, while also helping the workforce in Virginia become economically resilient.
