Mars 2020 Launch – Applause for the 1901 Group Helpdesk and Development Team

Mars 2020 LaunchIn the event you were unaware July 30th was the launch day for the NASA/JPL Mars 2020 mission. According to the fact sheet, NASA’s Mars 2020 Perseverance rover mission made its way to the Red Planet to search for signs of ancient life and collect samples to send back to Earth.

For most American’s the day was just a normal day, but for our Project Manager representing 1901 Group on ManTech’s ICE contract with JPL, it was an emotional day as the team realized the monumental role they played in the success of the ManTech team and the JPL mission to date.

“This particular launch was even more remarkable in light of the COVID-19 virus. It is moments like this that make the day-to-day tasks that we do turn into a lifelong memory. I want to thank everyone for their commitment to the end customer as part of Team ManTech, resolving mission critical issues quickly, configuring ServiceNow to support the day-to-day operations and custom configurations. I am truly blessed as a PM to represent this team of people. Applause to you for what you do every day for 1901 Group and its customer.”
