Five Phases to Accelerate Your Cloud Journey

As the federal government begins to make their transition to the cloud, it has become evident that migrating their mission systems can be complex.

1901 Group is diving to meet these cloud challenges head-on by developing a cloud journey methodology that provides customers with everything they need to assess, plan, design, migrate, and operate their mission application in the cloud – with ease and caution.

Phase 1 – Discovery & Assessment

A successful cloud journey starts with a thorough understanding of the systems and applications and how they support an agency’s mission, objectives, and constraints. This results in a recommended plan and schedule to design and plan the cloud journey.

Phase 2 – Design, Plan, & Assess

We use our Cloud Factory toolbox that provides the best practices, established scripts, blueprints, and account structures to deliver a Cloud Architecture and Design, an Application Migration Plan and Schedule, and an Estimated Cloud Spend Budget.

Phase 3 – Build & Secure

Following the approved cloud architecture and design, we establish cloud account organizations, policies, and templates to leverage automation and ensure IT security best practices are followed. This is where our FedRAMP authorization plays in.

Phase 4 – Move & Migrate

With the Cloud Architecture and Application Migration Plan completed, we use our proven assembly line concept to accelerate migrations of applications with common architectures and complexity to the cloud.

Phase 5 – Manage & Optimize

We provide 24×7 managed services to secure, maintain, and optimize your cloud environment. Managed services are provided from our FedRAMP authorized Enterprise IT Operation Center (EITOC) based on Service Level Agreements (SLAs). We use our FedRAMP authorized In³Sight™ SaaS to monitor, manage, provision, secure, and report.

No matter what stage you’re on, find the perfect partner that will help address your needs while moving you forward towards an actionable plan.
