Federal agencies are beginning to embrace digital transformation. Changing the way agencies protect data has led them down the incremental path for migrating to cloud computing environments.

Using a hybrid data IT solution — a combination of cloud and on-premises resources — helps organizations improve dynamic backup and disaster recovery strategies while ensuring that data remains secure.

Diving more into the topic of digital transformation for federal agencies, Brendan Walsh, SVP of Partner Relations at 1901 Group spoke with John Walls, host of theCUBE, and guest host Justin Warren, Chief Analyst at PivotNine, during the AWS re:Invent event in Las Vegas.

Brendan shared his insights on how the company helps public sector transform to use as-a-service back up and disaster recovery, how agencies can leverage FedRAMP and AWS GovCloud, and what is useful and valuable for the shift to data migration.
