Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (29 U.S.C. § 794 (d)) in 1998 requires Federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities. Inaccessible technology interferes with an individual’s ability to obtain and use information quickly and easily. 1901 Group recognizes and acknowledges the requirement for compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Accessibility standards within 36 CFR part 1194.
