The U.S. General Services Administration awarded a GSA Schedule 70 contract (#GS35F0617W) to 1901 Group LLC on September 2, 2010.

The contract authorizes 1901 Group LLC to provide a unique fixed-price / device-based pricing structure for Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) consisting of proactive continuity monitoring, management, and optimization services of Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure, Applications, and Security assets from a centralized and/or “remote” service delivery location. Services include the design, implementation, and support of unified communications and associated continuity of operations and disaster recovery.

The GSA Schedule 70 contract line item (CLIN) and fixed-price / device-base structure allows government agencies to purchase the exact level of service required on a per device basis, and covers services for a wide range of devices including: routers, switches, firewalls, application servers, IDS/IPS, DNS Security, VoIP Phones, and IT-Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (IT-GRC) tools. The pay-for-what-you-need model is flexible, predictable, transparent, and delivers substantial cost savings.
